Performs any combination of following tasks to assemble equipment or subassemblies: assemble, wire, brazing, solder, taping, insulating, testing, cleaning, polishing, refrigerant charging/recovery, packaging of products and running machinery.
Reads work orders, follows production drawings, work instructions, sample assemblies, or receives verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed.
May require cleaning and inspecting parts and disassembly of returned units.
Follow quality and safety rules and keep work area in a clean and orderly condition.
Assist in all other areas within and outside of primary assigned production cell.
Skills/Education/Requirements
High School Graduate, GED or equivalent work experience (1-2 years).
Good reading, comprehension, written and verbal English skills and use of addition, subtraction, multiplication and the division of numbers where interpretation is required.
Basic computer skills preferred.
Must be able to work with small and large hand tools both manual and power driven.
Must be available to work full-time 40 hours per week, approximately Monday thru Friday, 7:30 am - 4:00 pm.
Good work ethic.
Good attendance record.
Must be able to stand / walk continuously throughout an 8 hour shift.
Must be able to lift 35-50 pounds on a continuous basis.
